Ibrahim Hatia, CPA, CMA, is a Senior Manager in MNP’s Indirect Tax group in Toronto. With more than 10 years of indirect tax experience in government, public accounting and large corporate environments, Ibrahim develops customized strategies to help his clients achieve their goals. By understanding business’ unique needs, he ensures that clients meet their obligations in all relevant jurisdictions and take advantage of any refund opportunities.

Ibrahim’s services involve all areas of Canadian indirect taxes, including GST / HST, Quebec sales tax, and the various provincial sales taxes. Ibrahim provides valuable advice in the areas of indirect tax planning, compliance, business reorganizations, and conducting reviews of clients’ operations and systems to identify overpaid tax and unclaimed refunds. 

Ibrahim earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Ryerson University in 2009. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
